Money has corrupted our political system. Corporate interests and wealthy donors have more influence than the people we’re supposed to represent. I’m running to change that.

I’ve made a personal commitment: I haven’t accepted PAC donations during this primary. I won’t accept money from any PAC that prioritizes a foreign government’s interests over Americans’. I vet every PAC contribution and only accept from organizations whose values align with the people of Ohio’s 7th District. I will renounce support from any PAC or organization that attempts to promote me without my permission.

This is my standard until we achieve meaningful campaign finance reform.

Here’s what I’ll fight for in Congress:

Overturn Citizens United — I support a constitutional amendment to reverse this disastrous decision that allowed unlimited corporate money to flood our elections. Corporations are not people, and money is not speech.

Ban insider trading by members of Congress — It should be illegal for members of Congress to trade stocks, period. Strong criminal and civil penalties for violations. If you use your position to enrich yourself, you forfeit the privilege of serving.

Mandatory blind trusts — Once elected, I will place my immediate family’s assets in a blind trust without decision-making authority or knowledge of holdings—the way presidents used to do. This should be required for all members of Congress.

End conflicts of interest — Members of Congress shouldn’t trade in companies they regulate or vote on. No trading in defense contractors when you sit on Armed Services. No trading in tech companies when you vote on data center regulations. No profiting from inside information while communities pay the price.

Transparency in campaign finance — Require immediate disclosure of all campaign contributions over $200. Voters deserve to know who’s funding candidates before they vote, not months later.

Public financing option — Create a robust public financing system for congressional campaigns so candidates can run competitive races without being beholden to wealthy donors and special interests.

The choice is clear: we can have a government of, by, and for the people—or we can have a government bought and paid for by the highest bidder. I know which side I’m on.

When I represent you in Congress, I will fight to get big money out of politics and restore government to the people it’s supposed to serve.
